The Old Man and the Flower |
If it so happened that you were a little old fellow, your name could most certainly be Oskar Olsson. And if you then had somewhere to live, it could very well be in a small plain flat. Without a single flower. And that’s exactly what Oskar Olsson does. In the living room there’s an old TV. And Oskar Olsson is watching. Every day and every night. In that way he doesn’t have to think about that he no longer has any mates, and that life has become rather dull and lonely.
In the old days, when Oskar Olsson was a sailor, things were different. Then he could be seen dancing Hula-hula in Hawaii, with a wreath of flowers around his neck. Today he’s got nothing but the TV.
But what would happen if the TV exploded one day…? And if the doorbell rang, and an errand boy delivered a flower?
You will find out all this, in this astounding story!
A little play about love, hope… and flowers.
