			| Collaborative project with the Swedish Institute |  
			 
			CHILDREN’S THEATRE TAKEN SERIOUSLY 
				
			
			
				 Pygméteatern is taking part in a major project about Astrid Lindgren and children’s rights which the Swedish Institute is running in Belgrade this autumn. “Taking play seriously” is a theme common to our theatre production, “The Middle of the Night”, and the Swedish Institute’s project.  “The Middle of the Night” will be performed from 6-10 December in all the institutional children’s theatres in Belgrade: 
The ‘Pinokio’ Puppet Theatre" 
The ‘Dusko Radovic’ Little Theatre 
The ‘Bosko Buha’ Theatre 
and in the Pancevo Cultural Centre
  
 
In addition to its performances, Pygméteatern will hold workshops at the shadow puppet theatre, 
and also at the Belgrade Children’s Cultural Centre.
  
A seminar entitled “Working with children’s theatre in Sweden and Serbia” will be held on 9 December in the ‘Bosko Buha’ Theatre in Belgrade.
